I can't imagine anyone wants you to "step down," but I also don't see the point in starting redundant threads. Even if you're just trying to be helpful, I think it's easy for people to take it the wrong way.

I don't want to make a big deal out of this. I post the threads 5-10 mins b4 a mtt daily, and I don't think much of it when a donk makes a post 20-40 mins before. This has been happening to me all the time, and this is the first time anyone has made a fuss about it. It really isn't anyone's fault when a first time poster sees an official post one day, then decides to make it the next.

Dude, the fact is...Official MTT Thread Poster is not a real job, not matter how much you want to believe otherwise. Anyone can do it, and there is no reason in the world why whoever does it first for any given tournament should have to suffer the indignity of a ponce like you coming along and acting like the guy's thread didn't exist. And cluttering up the forum's frong page, I might add.
The only reason I'm making a sort-of big deal out of this is because, instead of just apologizing and moving on, you're defending your rudeness with a load of humbug.
