I'd guess the former on you. My wife is a marathon runner, so bloated is just not possible. I deposited $200 into both UB and PP 6 mos ago and have pulled out about $2-3K out of there w/o ever depositing again...so my poker play is fine. Once or twice a week is fine for me, my life is not defined by poker.

MN has some excellent asian restaurants...Rainbow Chinese, Shanghai Deli, Quang's Deli, Chang Mai Thai...

And Steak? The number one steak place in the country is Manny's Steakhouse in Minneapolis. Ive eaten at Dan Tana's..its pretty good, but does not compare to Manny's.

By the way, I'm bored with you.

Later,
Spoody

Obviously you haven't done much steak eating in NYC or Texas.

Default Re: Any Ace in NL - when does it become a good hand?

Spoody:

I can't think of a time that Axo is playable in NL except possibly if the entire table is calling the blinds on every hand and not raising, then A2-5 might be playable for the straight.

Since it is so likely that someone is going to have a better kicker with the same chances of making 2 pair as you, it isn't playable, IMO.

hmmm come to think of it maybe you were complimenting my culinary tastes by suggesting i enjoy ramen...its probably the best chinese you'll find in mineeesooooda. Personally I go for the dry aged hand cut new york served by a waiter older than god at Dan Tana's on the Sunset strip.

Limon, I was just reading through some of your posts cause the one about the greeks was so funny..

Anyway, I think its pretty lame to make comments like yours about where people live.

well, what you are actually saying is that any two cards are playable in late position, not just any ace. which may be true, if you play well enough. i doubt that is true for the majority of posters here though.
