Whats your plan when u checked flop?

I would normally bet out because your hope is that they are on overcards and that PFR raiser now raises and button folds and u call down and he got AK.

If u check u are inviting BB in and could - if u are ahead but unlucky - have 4 overcards instead of 2 against u.

No, I don't think that's a bad idea at all. He would probably check-behind on the river with Ace high. I still don't think it is probably the best line, but it may not really be much (if any) worse than the others.

Besides going for a check-raise on the flop, is there any reason you guys arent betting out on that flop? Is the chance that they have a nine really that great?

no it's not that likely someone has a 9, i think i was just check-raising the inevitable continuation bet. kiddo said he thinks i should be betting the flop though.
