[/ QUOTE ] What is villain betting river with that he capped preflop? Why didn't he want it checked through? I'd be surprised to see anything but AA here. What is MP1 calling down with? |

Re: PP 2-4: capped 4 ways pre-flop
o wait...oops...i misread ur post...sorry, im drunk.
Based on the PF cap, im inclined to believe that at least ONE of the villains has one of the hands Bronz mentioned. |

I think raising is better than calling the river, but folding is probably best. Am I way off?

Re: PP 2-4: capped 4 ways pre-flop
most of my experience is comes from shorthanded play and i know that we get to SD a fair bit more than you full table guys. that being said, i think that at least one if fifteen times, and probably more often than that, hero will be shown AK, 99, 77, 66, and a few others. mp looks like he has an 8 to me. i just don't give a ton of creedence to those river donk bets. maybe villian thinks that after all the likely draws bricked that he's betting his AK for value? w/out reads i just can't fold this for one bet.

[/ QUOTE ] 1. What does MP1 3bet that has an 8? only 88. The only explanation besides a big pair is a big flush draw, but he called the river, making me sure he has a big pair. 2. It's possible that BB has AK, but the river bet just isn't consistent with this. |

MP1 had TT as well. BB had AdAs.
I don't think anyone at a full table would cap with 88. I thought one player probably had AKo and another AA or KK, but I thought I had to call the river bet given the possibility that both had AK. |
