I decided that I couldn't face a check raise; it was really tight-weak of me. Brutal. I thought too much about the hand - I wanted it to seem like I was trapping him, hence the check-raise on the turn.

His call on the turn was pretty horrible given his cards. If he was going to play garbage like that, he should've re-raised me all-in and I would've had to have laid it down.

Either he had 6 outs or he was drawing dead.

That said, the river is such an automatic check. I can't believe I bet it. No worse hand calls me there. Moronic. Now I'll be forced to push with some garbage hand and I'll bust. Damn.

Never a good idea to try to bluff the table chip leader + maniac.

I legitimately thought i had the best hand on the turn. I should've check-raised more, i suppose. but, when you're the chip leader, i guess you can make calls like that.

Board of 2 3 5 5, check raised for 275 more into a small pot, call with Q9. Oh well.

Still alive, but barely.
