Default Monday NFL pix

Went 2-2-1 yesterday. Thought the Vikes might have a little self respect and not be the the laughing stock of the NFL , I was wrong, lesson learned. 1-3 on props, Delhomme and Griese were both on pace at halftime before getting injured in the 2nd half

NFL YTD 7-6-3 Props 6-4

1st quarter ovr 10 (-120)

Just come out hot Manning

Props
Edgerrin James, Will he record a touchdown Yes (-135)
Rams total rushing yards- under 97.5 (-115)
Total sacks by both teams ovr 5 (+110)

we need a before/after line on Tice's firing date. He's as DOA/lame duck as Wannstedt was this time last year.

Will Either Team Score in the Last 2 Minutes of 1st Half
10/17/05 115 Yes (Rams/Colts) -280
21:05 ET No (Rams/Colts) +220

Does this seem way too high or is it just me?

I think these are both pretty good.. Edge is playing really great football both catching and running.. Rams under 100 total yards seems good what with Stephen Jackson struggling a bit, and figuring they might be dropping back to pass for much of this game.

Heres the most interesting prop I found,

Torry Holt (Rams)
Total Receiving Yards - Must Play
10/17/05 Receiving Yards OFF OFF Over 97.5 (-115)
21:05 ET Receiving Yards OFF OFF Under 97.5 (-115)

Holt suffered a knee injury last week (he did return and played well) but he didnt practice this week although he will be playing in tonights game.

Is taking the under worthy here with the oppurtunity for him to reinjur the knee?

Probably not. It's like the "Longest TD will be under/over 1.5 yds" bet you see so often as a prop. 1 yd TDs occur far more often than you think.

I looked at this one for awhile also. The Rams playing from behind the whole game means Holt will probably get >100 yds, but the question is, like you said, how healthy is he? I've seen conflicting reports so Im still not sure.

If I played it I would take the under and hope he has a limited role or the Colt's D is really as good as they have looked so far.

I generally don't like unders around 100 rushing yards. I understand that the rams and running don't mix, but all you need to lose your bet is one semi-big play....which everyone gets from time to time.

D-Lineman slips, a gap opens, and your mediocre RB busts out for 35-40 yards.... you get the picture.

on the flipside, I don't like the over, because you have a dumpy running game against a good D.

the point of all this jibberish: Props like this are a no play for me, because I can rarely find a +EV in them.

This is really the whole prop, will a Ram's player break a run for >50 yards? I think there is plenty ov value at -115 for this not to happen against a good D.

I'll take the over for $1,000,000
