Spray decongestant works awesomely - oxymetazoline hydrochloride. It says not to use for more than 3 days or it might make it worse.

I just had surgery last thursday, a cyst in my cheek sinus. Go to doc and get a ct scan.

That's why I'm home, playin Poker, watching the food channel and posting in the best poker forum on earth, OOT.

Get some saline spray. Take a hot steamy shower. Blow all the crud out of your sinuses. Then spray the saline in there every few hours. It's taken care of every sinus infection I've ever had.

If you go the saline route, this is better. Buy a bulb syringe at the pharmacy. Mix up some salt water, get a bulb full and whoosh it up there. Will clean you right out.

Whatever you do, don't get Flo-nase.

That stuff clears your nose, but side effects cause nosebleed, sore throat, headache...

I got a nosebleed from the stuff. And the blood which clot after the bleeding stopped plugged my nose even more. So there's no point...

This won't help with your current problem, but I have struggled with sinus problems caused by allergies for years, and taking 500-1000mg of Vitamin C helps keep me healthy.

Since I started the Vitamin C, I haven't had a single sinus infection (I used to average about 3 a year).
