** Dealing Flop ** [ 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ] Pot = $3.25

Since I met no resistance, I assumed I had the best hand and expected to see KQ or a flush draw. I bet the turn because I didn't want to offer a free shot at a King or another club.

Thoughts?

I don't like betting all streets with tptk oop. I probably check the turn, if I bet the turn I check the river.

Sometimes when they are just calling you down you can almost tell you have the best hand. Like this hand for instance. I would probably bet closer to the size of the pot on the river and expect to get get called by KQ/KJ

Strangely enough I got called down by KK... Weird.

The reason why I posted this was because I know you're not supposed to build a big pot w/ one pair hands, but I didn't know what else to do in this particular situation.

Usually you're right but in this specific case if I bet the turn I'm betting the river too, you'll ocasionally see something like this (an overpair or two pair) but checking is leaving money on the table.

Bet $6 on river.

Other than that I don't see any real mistakes. Maybe raise more PF of course, so that you can know where you stand more. No way to put him on KK cuz anyone can call a minraise at 6-max.
