I would not fold for sure and i would think about raising. He was playing fast on the flop and he slowed down after the 8. If he floped 2 pair then your two pair is better and it might be worth raising here.

Call/Raise, don't consider folding.

I think we are good here more than we are not good but how often will he call a raise in comparison to how often he will 3-bet.

I think Raising probably slightly tips it. I don't know where I would start on his hand range though.
