My question here, is about my play preflop with this hand. I can't really imagine folding to a 45t bet more, and a raise seems like a good idea w/ AKs.

eurotlow03 folds. SethTV shows [ 3h, 6h ] a pair of queens. After this hand an the next couple it quickly became apparent that this guy doesnt like money.

Also a newbie, but on the first hand, I might limp with AK and hope to hit big. Too many loose callers that early in tourney...they could call a raise to 90 with anything.

I hate min-raisers, but even so my new strategy in the 22's is to push this. If they have AA/KK so be it, but there is just too much money out there to pass up the opportunity. And in the 22's I think when you do get called, it is with Ax (and worse) with enough frequency to make it more than worthwhile.

What about the times when they have middle PP and they call. I don't really wanna put my tournament on the line in the early stages w/ AK when at best im probably 60 40, but most probably 50 50.

Agreed. Pushing is not the right thing to do with AK. Raise to 60 or limp. Go from there.
