Default Casino vs Online

Hi I'm heading to Foxwoods next week for my first live play experience. I'm currently playing 2/4 and taking shots at 3/6. What's the comparable limit live? Thanks.

I play the 3/6 full on party and the games are much tougher than the 10/20 at the casino by my house. However I am in detroit and casinos are still relatively new to this area so the quality of play may vary in your area.

Sounds like $5/10 would be the game for you, although Foxwoods may offer only $4/8 games, but i'm not sure. My tip is that it is much harder to play tigher live than it is online, so be real careful on watching for this when you play. Also limit your session length to 6-8 hours.

Just a tip, avoid Foxwoods like the plague if at all possible for an enjoyable poker playing experience.

Edit: If you must go, the correct answer is the highest limit your bankroll and comfort level can sustain. The $5/10 with kill and $10/20 would be fine if you are rolled.

The 20-40 at foxwoods are worse players than the 3-6 or 5-10 in the morning on party, the players at the casino are just terrible. The 5-10 kill game is the best value in the house, it costs 70 cents per hand and because of the "kill" you have these morons with .50-1$ skills playing 10-20 half the time.

You guys may or may not have one, but it definitely isn't Foxwoods. Seriously, I've never seen a worse run card room in my life.
