Default Questionable play

Live 4/8 HE

This hand came up in my last B&M session

Im in MP with KQo the whole table limps to the CO who raises, button and SB fold, BB and everyone else comes along. 7 for the money, 14.5 SB in the pot

flop (Ah Th 9h).....hmmmmmm, I dont have a heart

checked round

Turn Js (Ah Th 9h)

checked to the player on my immediate right who bets, I raise??????????

folded back to the original better who mucks and I take it down

My thinking was that there were 6 other players in the hand, one of them had to have a heart, right? and if i just call i give some one with a heart the chance to catch up.

I hate those types of flops. What would you have done if someone would have bet the flop? I think I would have folded. When they all check and you hit the perfect card on the turn, I think you played it great with the re-raise. Also I wonder what would have been your play if you were re-raised at this point. Fold or call and check/call the river?

I like the play. You want to charge hearts to play. the danger is running into a slowplayed flush but you look like the one who slowplayed a flush here so its doubtful you'd be raised by someone with something like 5h4h.
