Does anyone know how much playing time and at what buy ins one has to play at to recieve hotel comps...specifically, at what levels and how much would one have to play to basically live in a casino in LV or AC?

Here's a link that provides info on comps and room deals at the leading Vegas poker rooms. Basically, the comps aren't anything to write home about but are better than nothing.

The real benefit is the sharply discounted room rates at places like the Bellagio and Wynn, which can be worth hundreds of dollars per night. In addition, sometimes rooms are available through the Poker Rooms when they are otherwise unavailable to the general public.

The line passes, in my experience, are also worth a lot because they save a lot of time that would otherwise be wasted standing in line.

Stay away from both and check out Tunica. Better games, better comps, better deals all around.

I have to agree on the Tunica idea. I am a low limit gamer when outside the poker room. I usaually play Let it Ride just for fun at $25 a bet maybe an hour a day. Next thing I know my next tip back to the Horshoe my whole stay was comped buddy and I got a free dinner at there steakhouse GOOD! Not to mention food while in the poker room was free and all you have to do is look at the right person to get a buffet comp. I used to love the Borg in AC. But now my road trips land me at the Horshoe in Tunica.

I've heard word of some ppl living at the Imperial Palace for a few months. After grinding it out for many many hrs a day I think it was estimated you could live there for $30-$40 a day

sounds feasible w/ the $3/hr comp thats unlimited and toward anything i believe... but a lot of the time they dont have over 2/4$.. so youd have to play 100$NL
