Default Good Big stack strategy ?

I saw a guy in a 2 table MTT just go completely nuts. He got to a 5 to 1 chip lead on everyone else at the table. With 8 players left from a 20 player tourney. He just starts putting people all-in with Q 4o and J3o and basically anytime he had a face card. It worked. He knocked me out with J3o against my Q9 suited. He was soon 10 to 1 chip lead on everyone. Good strategy to do once you reach 5 to 1 lead on everyone ? He didn't do this earlier when he had just started. He got on a roll just started going nuts. I don't think he really lost a hand once he reached 5 to 1 . I was just thinking. Had that been me with the 5 to1 , I probably would have stayed relatively tight.

No it's not a good strategy, you don't want to gamble your stack away calling peoples all ins. Sure it works sometimes, but more than half the time you are asking to lose chips.
