Default Leak in my play? AKs hand

PokerStars (7 handed) $20+2 PL Hold'em Level 4
MP2 (2235 in chips)
Hero (2380 in chips)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of 100.
MP2 calls 100, Hero raises 300 to 400,SB folds, BB folds, MP2 calls 300.

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets 500, MP2 raises 1335 to 1835 and is all-in, Hero folds.

Final Pot:
Main Pot: 1950

I feel like my play for this hand was pretty poor. I didn't have much read on MP2, but I knew he was a sophisticated player. Where did I go wrong?

I think you played it fine. It sucks when AK misses. I guess you could check behind on the flop, but then if the turn misses you and your opponent bets you are left wondering if you have the best hand. Tough situation you can check sometimes, but I think betting is the better play. Cards happen.

No leak, stop worrying. You put in a standard raise, he called. You flopped nothing but bet-out aggressively, no problem. His check-raise says he is not afraid of your AK, 99, 88 etc. , or maybe flopped a set. You fold, correctly.

I don't see any mistakes here.

You underbet the pot on the flop. If you do this with your good hands too, it's not really a problem, but maybe your bet telegraphed to your opponent that you missed the flop.
