AK nearing the bubble in a satellite
341 entries, about 40 players left, top 9 get a $1,050 seat in the Stars WCOOP event #8.
Villian has been pretty solid. Does anyone consider folding this here? PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (8 handed) converter SB (t16586) BB (t7590) UTG (t27802) UTG+1 (t12625) MP1 (t28109) Hero (t9770) CO (t18647) Button (t8565) Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Hero raises to t1850, CO raises to t18647, 3 folds, Hero??? |

Re: AK nearing the bubble in a satellite
Call. You have a below average stack and 3/4 of the field needs to be eliminated. You only have 16xBB, so you have to go with AK.

Re: AK nearing the bubble in a satellite
If you wer closer to the bubble it'd be an auto-fold, but I think you still have lots of poker to play and not a big enough stack to fold here. Call.

Re: AK nearing the bubble in a satellite
It doesnt look good in your situation. Villan probabbly has a solid hand here, QQ or better.....I cant see him risking a big loss in an entry tourney at this stage. Regardless you need to put your chips in and hope to double through.
