Re: JJ on button level 2 party 22
I am not re-raising with JJ here, probabally wouldnt even re-raise with QQ, not sure.
But in this situation I think you can get away with a bet of about 130 or so...maybe? I dont know, I usually dont know exactly what to do post flop at the early levels... I hope it turned out alright... |

Re: JJ on button level 2 party 22
I usually call preflop here. Given that you raised, you have more folding equity, so I think bet about 125 on the flop. If I'm called, I'm trying to get to a showdown cheaply, and laying down to any aggression.

RESULTS
Dealt to Hero [ Jd, Jc ] sloweddie folds. matthewjl folds. CornBread313 folds. Mrbrownfolks folds. EZEddie111 raises (60) to 60 Grinder_340 folds. marrone1979 folds. Hero raises (150) to 150 tuba13 folds. sideout3 folds. EZEddie111 calls (90) ** Dealing Flop ** : [ 9s, Qs, Ts ] EZEddie111 checks. Hero ??? Hero bets [300]. >You have options at Table 13824 Table!. EZEddie111 is all-In [515] Pot committed Hero calls [215]. ** Dealing Turn ** [ 2d ] ** Dealing River ** [ Tc ] cha5959 shows [ Jd, Jc ] two pairs, jacks and tens. EZEddie111 shows [ Qh, Ac ] two pairs, queens and tens. EZEddie111 wins 1375 chips from the main pot with two pairs, queens and tens. Preflop, ya I think you're right. I should have just called. I was happy to get a hand and got wreckless. Postflop, I knew I misplayed this, but I wasn't sure if checking, betting less or going all in would have been better than what happened. A smaller bet like you suggest seems like the best way to go because I would have got the information I needed and could been able to fold instead of being pot committed. Thanks for the input. |
