noob question about screenshots

What do i need to do to take a screen shot? My affiliate will need a PT screenshot for october and I have no idea how to take one. And if anyone cares to answer, how do i paste a screenshot in a forum post?

alt+prntscrn takes the screenshot

open mspaint.exe

cntrl+v pastes the ss into mspaint

save and ENJOY!

there's a keycombo that just takes a ss of the current window, it might be shift+alt+prntscrn

prntscrn is on the upper right of your keyboard (if US)

prtScn takes a shot of the whole screen. Alt + prtScn takes a shot of the active window.
