Full Tilt had about 100 online qualifiers for the main event.

Each of us got a t-shirt, a poster, a chocolate bar, a Howard Lederer DVD, a mousepad.

They then sent all of us a bunch of other stuff (I only got mine like 2 weeks ago for some odd reason) including a hat, 2 t-shirts, a polo shirt, a polartech fleece, and a deck of cards.

Full Tilt also had a hospitality suite set up near the gaming floor and was the only site to do so. At the suite, they had merchandise for sale.

Soooooo... they had a good merchandising push. They also had a booth at the convention center floor for the first 3 days of the main event and a gigantic banner in a large atrium connecting the casino floor to the card room floor.

If you'll notice, there are a ton of people with those white Pokerstars shirts as well. Some people just like wearing free stuff and some people feel compelled to wear stuff from the site that gave them their entry.

As far as pros, Full Tilt has an extraordinary number of strong players including:

Jesus, Howard Lederer, Erick Lindgren, Phil Gordon, Jon Juanda, Erik Seidel, Andy Bloch, Phil Ivey, and Jennifer Harman.

Matusow and Layne Flack also have some relationship with FTP and Ted Forrest either does or did.

It's a powerhouse upstart of a site. I played there a year ago and they've grown tremendously since then.

It really is amazing how much it has grown. 1 Year ago A good day for FTP was in primetime they'd have 3,500-4,000 players online.

Now they have that many on at 2-4 AM. They aren't as big as Party or Stars, but after a year and 1/4 of live cash play, the site is doing extremely well.

I didn't think Ferguson or Gordon could own or even manage Full Tilt since they live in the U.S. I remember everyone was saying how if the Owners of Party came into the U.S. they would be arrested by the DOJ. But then again you have Lee Jones ,the poker room maanager on Stars, who I'm pretty sure lives in the U.S.

Full Tilt is a cool site. I think they will do well because on top of all their advertising, it is easy for fans to watch their pros play games (a table with a pro sitting at it is highlighted in red.) Their is usually at least one pro on their at most times playing some big games.

I like the site a lot and its not bad to win on, but I really, really, want one of those fitted hats. ARGH.

[/ QUOTE ]

You can buy one on Ebay. Full Tilt gear sells quite well on there.

I can't find a fitted one, only the hat that you can get out of the FT store. If you'd like to show me, I'd appreciate it.
