Default Should I fold?

Info:
UTG: 66, 40, 0 (hands, VPIP, PFR)
Button: 39, 51, 7.7 (H,V,P)

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls, Hero raises, 5 folds, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (10 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets, Hero raises, Button 3-bets, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls, Hero caps, Button calls, UTG calls.

Hero caps thinking he has the best hand and button is very possibly betting the 4-flush.

Turn: (11 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, Button calls, UTG calls.

Having avoided the heart, hero bets out again assuming the best hand.

River: (14 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, Button raises, UTG 3-bets, Hero folds, Button folds.

Final Pot: 20 BB

Hero folds what is probably not the best hand any more. I am interested in heroes play; Is the pot too big to fold still facing a 3 bet and possiable cap? Also what you think the button may be folding.

good lay down, it's obvious someone was chasing the flush.

First of all, I wouldn't have bet that river. I check to the button and call if it's one back.

More importantly, I don't understand the cap on the flop. Would villain 3 bet a draw?

I would have played it the same way except for the river. Since the button didn't raise the turn, I would assume he was on a flush draw. I would check to him and hope it's only one bet back to me to call. If it's two back, I'm folding.

I like the flop raise, I don't like the flop cap. Button is obviously lose preflop but we're only talking about 40 hands... do you respect his post-flop play? The reason I ask is that I don't think he'd reraise the flop with a draw, since it is going to knock out SB,BB, and possibly UTG. Or, is he thinking he'll get a "cheap" free card? If he's a total LAG, then who knows.

When UTG cold-calls 2 after leading the flop, I think that screams flush draw.

If you really believe that both UTG and Button are capable of being very aggressive with nothing, I think I would go for a c/r on the turn when a blank falls.

Regardless, I would fold this river.

Well, played until the river. The 3-bet was not a good idea. If you put him on a 4 flush, why raise this river? I doubt he's raising on a missed draw. I'm thinking at the worst, he's betting 2 pair and prolly he made his flush with that 8h.

You need to drink less of your product when reading hand posts.

Thanks all for the advice. I need to work on knowing when to get a cheap showdown. I am seriously lacking that presence of mind in my game. More and more I am betting a hand like this and then getting called down to the river and CR’d by a monster and feeling foolish for not checking behind with a hand like top pair, good, not best kicker especially when it seems draws are completed by the river.

I don't like this line. I think we're missing out on value bets more often than the times we are beaten. I also don't like capping the flop.
