Thanks all for the advice. I need to work on knowing when to get a cheap showdown. I am seriously lacking that presence of mind in my game. More and more I am betting a hand like this and then getting called down to the river and CR’d by a monster and feeling foolish for not checking behind with a hand like top pair, good, not best kicker especially when it seems draws are completed by the river.
