Default At any point do say \"Hmmm, shouldn\'t have slow played flop.\"??

Since there were many people in the hand I decided to try and slow play my two's. Was I wrong with the way I ended up playing this hand?

I probably raise the flop here but you played it fine, just calling to lure in the field is fine here.

Slowplaying here is probably okay. You have a monster, the pot is small, this flop didn't help anybody, and you really want people to hang around and catch a 2nd best hand on the turn.

The only real drawback to slowplaying this when you raise the turn (you have to raise at some point), you will be blasting people out of the pot. That wasn't a problem on this hand, but only because you got lucky that the top card paired.

A strong case can be made for just raising the flop. You will fold out more than you would like, but at least it builds a pot and hopefully ties the people who are left to their hands.

This has been hammered into me enough that I think I can safely say this for the vets:

"Do not slowplay a set in the microlimits. Ever."

Actually, I don't mind it here.

If Hero were CO or button, slowplaying would definitely be the right play here.

I like the slowplay here with FIVE!! players to act behind that already need to call a bet.

raising the flop will get more bets into the pot. If you raise the flop most of these loose players will make a loose call, thats what they do. Then you will be checked to on the turn and you will bet and half the people will call you. I dont like slowplaying this here. When you slowplay the flop and then raise the turn you have created a smaller pot and you when you raise you now force mostly eveyone to fold which is not what you want on this ragged board you want those overcards to call, which is what they will do on the flop that is as ragged as this.
