the button limped with AKc/AQc??? why do you see this as likely?

also, check raising with this big of a hand isnt a good play, lead three bet or stop and go if raised, this is a hand to play a big pot not snap off a small bluff, wow i cant believe someone advocates check raising here

[/ QUOTE ]
the convertor is effed on this hand, the button most likely raised pre.

they are 7k deep and checkraising this flop is fine, dont be silly. just cause u lead doesnt mean you are getting raised.

2/4 nl on bodog
I raise ak utg to 25 and get 2 callers
flop is 2 9 10
I bet 50 get one caller
Now this guy I had played with for several hours and he loved his draws and was stuck about 6 buyins
The turn is a 4 and I check
He moves all in for 250
I think for a while and type "i may look like an [censored] but I think you have jack queen" and I call
I was right and the river is a lovely duece

you can tell theres no preflop raise by the flop pot size betting and the number of people to see the flop

yeah check raising is "fine", so is anything but check folding, but leading out is optimal

them being deep makes this even more true, your hand is disgused and you have a much better chance of winning a really big pot

do you see why?

I agree completely. flawless, no need to mix up your play. Just do the same thing every time.

Converter didn't digest this hand well. Final pot was 8137, not 7990,

Preflop action was

Everyone folds to Button, who raises $40 to $60. SB calls. BB calls.

Mine was probably the 500th hand I ever played of NL. I was playing only 1 table of 2/4 on party, I was inexperienced but the game was super good.

to make a short story shorter, I ended up overcalling all in preflop with AA, 4 others in, 2 KK, 1 AQs, and one JJ. The aces held up. There was some extra money on the table and I covered so the pot was around 800bbs including my money.

I'll take that over expert play anyday.

I have J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. My opponent has been playing only premium hands (QQ-AA, AK, AQ), raising to 10x BB and then pushing 200xBB no matter what.

Opponent opens for $20, I call.

Flop J74, open pushes $400, I call.

Opponent shows QQ. River bricks twice. I win.
