Betting sixth street lets you know exactly where the opponent is at, and set yourself up for a perfect check-raise on the end. I like it as played.

It's attrocious to check on 6th. Seat 7 has given you no reason to this point to believe he was chasing a flush draw(if he had 4 hearts on 4th why not raise in that position?). Of Course I'm assuming seat 7 ain't a passive moron.

There are a lot of passive morons in that game. I would assume he was on a flush or straight draw, most likely.

Suppose you already KNOW that he has the flush? How bad is the bet? There are 30 unknown cards & 10 of them improve you to a flush or quads. You trap bets into the pot by leading through the field. One third of the time you miss, & you spent an extra bet. The other 1/3 you built a bigger pot & took it down. And who says he's already got the flush, anyway? The bet looks good to me. Ben
