Mine is in too. Although I was not real concerned about eurobet fleeing with my money, strangely, I still wanted my money. Go figure.

I don't think that a 60 hour cash-out is that big a deal.

Perhaps I'm just used to the fact that almost all cash-outs used to take 2-4 days as recently as a couple years ago.

I honestly didn't realize that a 3 day cash-out was SO out of the norm these days as to ignite a bordeline-panic.

I guess the fact that this just doesn't happen as much is a good thing.
But I just don't see the reason everyone is being so upset about this.

Couple other things:

I always keep some extra money in neteller for bonus-chasing/depositing purposes. But I understand if people would just rather shuffle money around I suppose (if they don't have enough to just let some sit around in neteller doing nothing perhaps).

Still...this Empire bonus was 100% up to $100. How hard would it have been to just get it there from your bank if you wanted to make sure you got the bonus that badly?

Also - the Empire bonus came in the pop-up on Empire recently of course...but it was announced on these forums several days ahead of time.

Long-story short....you just shouldn't have money tied-up in an online-poker account that you think you might need near-immediate access to.

Euro kept acknowledging that they were taking care of the situation. It's not like it had been 2 weeks since your cash-out AND the site wasn't even responding to you.

I think talk of "I'm never depositing there again" is WAY over-the-top. Seems like a minor-delay to me and nothing more.

your first post was stupid, so was the second, so was the third. ive been waiting 48 hours for my eurobet cashout.
i suggest going somewhere else if your intention is to be a douchebag here.

Gee, look at these 2 quotes and tell me who are the ones being douchebags.

Sorry you've all been waiting so long for cashouts, and I have no beef with comments about that. And if you want to see if others are having problems too, have at it. What I'm seeing as odd is how waiting a few days to cashout makes playing at a site "unacceptable." Eurobet has never been all that fast with cashouts, and the extra sportsbook steps are a pain. No real bonuses either - but they have great rakeback which makes it worth playing. In fact, IMO that trumps the bad points. This stuff has been well known for awhile, and if slow cashouts make playing there "unacceptable" WTF were you doing there in the first place?

Maybe microbob had a more diplomatic way of approaching the subject but I had no intention of sparking the flamewar you and DarkForce are so eager to have with me. If my posts are so stupid, don't respond - especially since you were uninvolved to begin with PITT.

I find it HI-larious how this whole withdrawal/deposit thing works.

After Dr. Al's post about Empire security, I promptly withdrew all my money from both Empire and Eurobet, figuring it's not too big a hassle to withdraw every night and re-deposit the next day.

Well, the next day my Empire cash is in Neteller, while the Eurobet cash is not (and still isn't, 48 hrs later); however, I now have zero cash in my Eurobet account, so I re-deposit from Neteller and "BAM!", as they used to say in the Ragu commercials, "It's in there!" within 11.25 seconds.

Why the huge descrepancy between deposit and cashout times at these sites? Does it take that long to nullify possible cheating/collusion? Are they that freaking thorough?

I doubt it.

Ps. I'm trying to EFT to my bank from Neteller right now and am repeatedly getting "document contains no data" errors.

Can I say "gaysville"? Can I? Well, I'm a gonna...

Gaysville.

PPs. Turns out it was Firefox, not Neteller. I still stand by the Gaysville remark though.

when I first started playing I too wondered why a deposit can be instantaneous but a cash-out can typically take 2-4 days.

guess I've just gotten used to it (and sometimes it can have to do with the fact that they haven't received all the money from your deposit yet....but mostly it's just because they're a bit lazy about it I suspect).

you;ll get no flame war from me, your first two posts were obviously completely uninformed and incorrect, this is why i responded that you should make sure they are informed or correct in the future. we obviously werent "in need" of the money, just the fact that it took a day extra made me miss the empire bonus and i was slightly annoyed. however, the hilarity of you saying "youre not involved, dont respond" after you initially responded not only when you werent involved, but when you didnt know the slightest detail about the situation. i would recommend against that in the future.

This is because of the way the process works.

When you make a deposit, the poker site verifies with neteller that you actually have enough in your account to cover it, then requests the money from neteller. However, they front you the money in the mean time so you can gambool it up right away. then, a couple days later, the poker site gets the money from neteller and the force is back in balance.

Neteller, however, does not front you the money when you cash out. So, it takes the full time that the transfer takes to get there.

It's kinda similar to a debit/credit transaction at a store. They verify that you have the necessary credit/funds to cover the cost of the item and give you the item. But they dont get the money for a couple days - if you have internet banking you can verify this. The money won't leave your account until a couple days after the purchase date.
