Default Muck QQ Preflop?

Live 5-5NL, hero is UTG+2 with 550 euro in front. UTG is a player with a ton of money who makes interesting decisions, seems to know what he's doing, but is also here to gamble, and has rebought twice so far, both times casually throwing a 500 euro bill onto table.

UTG+1 is short stacked, with 200 euro in front. He's been playing tight and has only shown down twice, both times a winner.

The game is casino action, standard raise is about 30 euro.

Hand goes like this: UTG open raises to 50 euro, UTG+1 thinks for a sec then makes it 100 euro, leaving himself 100 left. Hero looks down at QQ. Does anyone fold it here?

I think this is a tough decision. The minraise to 100 Euro's could mean AA or KK, but also could mean 99-JJ and AK or AQ in my experience. The problem here is if you just call the 100, what do you do if an ace or king flops and UTG+1 pushes. Also, what do you do if the flop is 248 and UTG+2 gets agressive.

If you want to gamble, I'd go all in here and expect to be ahead a bit of the time. Probably enough of the time to make this play worthwhile.

However, folding isn't terrible, but you will get mad when the two players get all in 33 vs. JJ or something like that.

Considering the reads, yes it's quite likely you have UTG beat, UTG+1 may be trying to isolate, but commiting half his stack w/ a mini-raise is a little strange. If he's been player uber tight, this is probably AA-KK, maybe AK. Considering the read on UTG+1 I'd just fold and wait for another spot.

Fold. UTG +2 likes his hand too much.

I'm kinda surprised, to be honest. I half-expected a barrage of insulting responsed along the lines of "You have QQ in a casino, what kind of idiot would ever fold?"

I ended up thinking for a long time and finally flat calling. I really though UTG+1 had exactly AA but I convinced myself that he could have KK-JJ or AK suited as well, and that I might be able to get value flopping a big hand and playing poker with UTG. UTG came along too and the flop came AQ3. UTG check, UTG+1 moves his last 100euro into pot, I instacall with second nuts, UTG folds, and UTG+1 proudly flips over the first nuts, AA.

I failed to quad on turn or river.

Just wondering if you guys thought I could get away preflop. Thanks.
