PokerTracker: +$$ but -BB/100
How is it possible to show a positive profit and then have a negative BB/100 in poker tracker?
I've ran into this a few times when looking at the stats for just specific days. |

Did you play at different limits for the day?

yes 3/6, 5/10 and 10/20 [/ QUOTE ] This is where the error comes in. If you average like -1BB/100, -0.5 BB/100 and 1BB/100 in those games, then your average bb/100 will be negative, but you will show a win for the day (depending on # of hands played, of course) |

Re: PokerTracker: +$$ but -BB/100
So it is correct in the calculations? It should be a negative number?

Re: PokerTracker: +$$ but -BB/100
say you lost $40 at .50/1 and won $400 at 20/40 over a total of 200 hands, 100 at each of the stakes.
Your BB/100 for the day would be (-40+10)/2 = -15BB/100. Yet obviously you profited on the day. It can also work the other way (negative net, positive BB/100). |

Re: PokerTracker: +$$ but -BB/100
The same way it's possible to win the popular vote and lose the election. You probably made a profit at a higher limit but then played a lot of slightly losing poker at a lower limit. Small profit, -BB/100.
