Default Re: Can you have too much money on the table?

[ QUOTE ]
I have been pretty successful, so far, playing NL 6-max. Is there a widely accepted thought on getting profits off the table at a certain amount? There are obvious advantages to having a larger stack than anyone sitting down, but at what point are you risking too much for this advantage?

[/ QUOTE ]

You stay as long as the fish are biting, once the sharks enter your water then that is when it is time to get up and leave. If you are sitting with 3-4x your buyin and the guppies are rebuying you are still at a significant advantage, just be extra cautious getting into pots with the other sharks at your table of similar stack size.
