i open-fold at least 20 times an hour; what exactly is the problem?

[/ QUOTE ]
The line here as I understand it is open - call - flop - fold.
It probably should have been open - call - flop - check - bet - fold. The problem is that this moron didn't even see if he could get a free card, instead he just laid down the pot. I saw this happen at least twice tonight on the tables at Party. Just doesn't make sense, why lay down unless your oponent gives you a reason to lay down?
That's the problem. On the other hand I don't think we should complain about these players. We may not understand them, but they help our bankrolls grow . . .

I open fold a fair in amount, even in hu pots. I just think it's pretty funny to do.

Me too, I thought this was pretty standard.

I'm pretty sure TOP never denounced the openfold so it can't be fundamentally bad. As long as you use it in the right spots, which OP obviously hasn't learned to do.

I also do this once in a while. I like to think it makes people think I'm insane.

Made a guy snap once doing it, I was playing hella laggro in a shorthanded NL game and I had stacked him twice and he was absolutely fuming wanting to get back at me, I could tell he was just waiting for a hand to take a stand with. He raises button I call BB and right as the flop hits I whip my cards in, he shows top set with pocket KK and throws his chair into the wall and starts ranting.

I was once the BB in a hand where on the River the SB open folded, I checked, and the Button folded.

I had something like 7 high but had bet the turn after the flop got checked through. When they both called my turn bluff I decided not to put anymore money in the pot. Schneids said I should have bluffed the river.
