MP2's sudden wakeup bet on the turn and stop-n-go on the river scares me. I'd just call his river bet. The rest looks good, I think.

Adverbs are your friend.

That river bet is scary. Just call, otherwise I play it the same.

He merely called your raise on the turn, and then he three-bet you on the river. This is either someone trying to pull a tricky slowplay type thing on you, or he's an idiot. And since you say he is a total fish, I think you're fine going ahead and raising the river when he bets into you and calling the 3-bet. Honestly, even an idiot with a higher set or J10 for the straight has to three-bet you on the turn. And since the river deuce can't improve his hand to beat yours, I think you played it fine.

I very often see donks betting once they've made their hand instead of going for the check/raise.

Ya this guy was terrible, pokertracker had him as a total fish. The only reason I raised that river was him holding up on the turn. that really messed me up !
