Default live 3/6 hand (low content)

table very loose/passive. people will call multiple raises with hands as bad 37s, T4o, etc.

UTG is a total thug. he's been swearing like a sailor, yelling to his "homeboys" two tables away, and pounding the table with his bets/raises. before the dealer begins dealing hole cards, he announces loudly to the dealer that he's raising in the dark, and puts his $6 in. everyone but me instafolds their cards as soon as they get them. I'm in mp and before I'm done checking my cards, everyone other than thug *including blinds* has mucked, half out of turn. either they're thrown off by this odd play or they're afraid of the gangster making it. thug has not touched his cards, I've been watching him.

I look down to A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
better than avg, so I call. thug, bets 3 in the dark.

flop comes Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I call. thug bets 6 in the dark.

turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
I call. thug bets 6 in the dark.

river: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
I call.

I was somewhat baffled by the whole thing, so I probably didn't play it optimally.

oh, and thug turns over 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for the win

You didnt mention what type of situation you were in as far as changing tables? I think the main problem is table selection. You have an intimidating maniac and some intimidated newbs it seems. Doesnt seem optimal, as I would expect the newbs to get up and move pretty quick. Leaving you to deal with the "thug". This could lead you to make decisions based on just beating him out of spite.

The action doesn't make any sense to me. Thug raises PF, you call, he 3-bets?

How does thug manage to bet 6 on the flop when its 3/6?

live straddle, blindraise, and are active when it gets back to you, so you can raise .. it would make 2+2 lag tables insanely fun as it can get upto 8bets preflop, setting up very nice suckouts

i have no clue how you can bet 6 on the flop in 3/6 though

yeah its very good fun, I did it the other day I straddled, got3bet, coldcalled by 2, 4bet by the BB, I 5bet blind(gambling is fun) look before the flop and see AA

proceed to flop the nuts, turn a boat and takedown a monster pot

and yeah lag tables would be very fun online, 7bets 7handed to the flop sounds like perfect

they should also add a function where you can not look at your cards, or look at just 1 for added effect

Man that sounds like fun. 5-betting PF and looking down to find AA.

The function where you cannot look at your cards would be good if there was a signal on the screen where it tells the other players that you're playing your hand blind.
