True microw challange 1k in 60 days
Well with all of the 60k in 60 days challenges that are going on right now, I though I would do my own micro stakes challenge of 1k in 60 days I will be playing .25/.50 and .50/1$ limit and some .10/.25 NL. *for the most part I will just put total hands played and $ earned and not what limit was being played* .I know that this does not sound like a lot to some of you micro players out there put for me it is a nice challenge because for the most part I only play 200 hands a day or less. Therefore, this is to help motivate me in to playing more hands. Feel free to take this challenge with me and post standings.
Day 1. 356 Hands played over 4 tables $ won 40

I'll take part, but my goal is 1k in 30 days. This goal has evolved over the last few weeks of playing. I'll explain.
I am on a summer long vacation, returning home on September 22nd. I had taken it for granted that my internet connection wouldn't allow me to play poker since pings couldn't come back through the firewall. It took me until 2 weeks ago to realize I could play on Stars through a proxy. So I've used the money already in the account, coupled with a strong finish in the money in a $20+2 to get back to 4-tabling to kill time. Before I left for vacation, I withdrew almost every dime in all of my poker accounts. When I got home I had planned to deposit $1,000 and grow my bankroll back through 2/4 and 3/6, eventually settling for a long stay at 5/10. Well now that I can play poker, let's scratch that. I want to earn my entire roll. I have $440 in my Stars account. I want that to be $1,800 before I get home. I was planning to deposit $1,000 of my own money to get back into the game, but it'll feel so much nicer to use other people's money That'll be my micro challenge. I hope a few more people take part in various challenges.

I'd plan to run hot if you don't want to put in an insane number of hands -- it's an integral part of any well thought out challenge, but a surprising number of people insist on doing without. Must be latent masochism.
For what it's worth, I had my first 1K month 4-tabling .5/1 at Party without rakeback or bonuses. However, it was before I started to understand how much I suck, so I'm not sure it counts. [censored] Bugs Bunny cartoons. Best of luck to both of you.

This is about reevaluating my game and trying to squeeze another .5bb/100 out of myself.

I'm a glutton for punishment. I've been running bad, but I'm willing to give this a try. (Maybe it will motivate me to play more, I've been playing less since the downswing started...but reading and posting 2+2 more.)

I just started playing poker about a month ago or so. Just started playing online 2 weeks ago. I'm going to try your challenge, but i'm including bonuses..because i suck =). So i guess its not a "true" challenge. oh well.
