Interesting you feel this way..

Lets say I typically raise from the button in a steal
raise situation with my best 70%.
Now I see that you only defend 38% of the time..
Lets say you reraise 1/2 the time (19%).

For simplicitys sake I show a profit vs all players
with my normal 70%. Also assume you cant bet flop-river,
but if your the leader and would've bet, and other
player would've folded, then you cannot win pot.

But now I attack your blind 100%. (Ignore SB for
now)...So 62% of the time I raise with 71-100,
I make 1 bet. When you flat call, with position,
I should still win at least half. When you reraise
I will still win Id guess at least 20% of the time
by outflopping you or flopping a playable hand
and outdrawing you.

so 80% of 19% (15%) you'll win 3 bets.
_____________________________________________

62% I make 1 bet.

9.5% I make 2 bets.
9.5% you make 2 bets.

15% you make 3 bets.
4% I make 3 bets.

If my math and estimations are correct I should win about twice
as much as you even with my bottom 30percentile of
hands.

Basically by folding so much you make it impossible
to catch up. Even if my math is slightly off or
my estimations it will still be profitable to raise
all my worst hands for +EV when it shouldn't be.

Now there are many other factors both pro and con
to this situation, such as SB will decrease
buttons profit (but not increase your EV),
also button will lose more than 3 bets avg
when you 3 bet and button pays off with far the worst
of it..But position will counter a lot of these
problems, not to mention that when button raises
and sb folds your pot odds are bigger than a
10/20 structure. Also a simple strategy of just
betting flop and giving up even with 2nd or 3rd
pair should be profitable for button (until you
catch on).

as amused i am that you spent your time on that, you fail to understand that it is a statistical average and that i am only giving something up if somebody has begun doing exactly what you have mentioned (forgiving the math). i can assure you that i could notice if they did, and that i can adjust as well. i also have databases on my opponents, and if they steal more than 40% of the time i will 3bet the living hell out of them. feel free to come up with an average of your blind defense and i'm sure somebody will be happy to illustrate how it would be possible to take advantage of it too. or how often you checkfold the flop after raising preflop and getting 3bet. or anything.
