el diablo,

even the best PBJ players in the world go on bad downswings like this.

even the best players do not play there A game when running bad, and suboptimal play can further inrease your losses.

some people may think that is the case here with you staying on 16 with a dealer showing a 9. but you made the right read that he had a little one and would be forced to hit.

he sucked out on you. but if you had taken the hit, you would have went bust anyway. this hand was a stone cold cooler, and you couldn't get away from it.

i recommend you save your PBJ bankroll and wait for the release of PPG (party pai gow).

a player of your hand-grouping ability will have a much greater edge in the game, and i suspect you will flourish at the highest of stakes.

good luck,
chuddo.

Scotty,

The table has $200 betting limit, so Martingale does not work. However, I still try it sometimes. Sometimes when losing, sometimes when winning.

[/ QUOTE ]

If I were you I would be worrisome that PBJ is rigged to notice people doubling their bet sizes with every loss, so it will make sure you continue losing. I have friends who have tried the Martingale for 6 hours straight and they lost like $20,000 doing it. I think it might be rigged.

[/ QUOTE ]

Or maybe its because that system makes you lose money faster. Genius.

[/ QUOTE ]

no, i am pretty sure it is rigged. i was betting dollars and cleaning up. i'm talking like 10 wins in a row. then i bet $200.. what happened? dealer BJ

Stinky: I am playing perfect strategy and counting cards, so I have a pretty big edge.

[/ QUOTE ]

With an incredible 10% deck penetration at Party, everyone should definately be card counting. By running simulations over like hundreds & hundreds of hands, I calculated that using a 1-200 bet spread, you can reduce the Party house edge by a half. Later this month, I'm going to release the ElD count, specifically designed for PPBJ. At only $199, the benifits are huge:

- Reduces the house edge from 0.6% to an amazing 0.3%!
- Much bigger variance - swings are exciting!
- You have to restart the BJ table after every 41 cards!
- It actually works exactly how described! Or money back gaurantee!

Haahhahhaaa...

The dealer had a SIX showing, not a nine.

Surprisingly, all the posters who are DEAD WRONG in this thread are the smartest ones. Smart enough not to play PPBJ and know that PP reverses the dealer cards when they go face up.

the problem is that the dealer doesn't respect your bets at $19 BJ - you have to move up limits so that you don't get sucked out on

Dude. sorry about the bad beat. Peep this one tho! I was playing my infallible load the bases after 5-rolls with no 7s system and I got [censored] bad-beated raw-dog style.
