Re: Stars 45K Final Table
Hi, my first post on this forum.
Asked for a deal twice, but no one seemed intrested. The call with 72, aint my proudest moment, but it's not as bad as you say either. Here's my thoughts: The opponent had made many strange plays during the finaletable. Betting very strong on pot without hitting. Calling pushes with J9o, and lost a pot vs K high an so on. Jomar60: posts the ante 4000 FisherGod52: posts the ante 4000 Jomar60: posts small blind 40000 FisherGod52: posts big blind 80000 *** HOLE CARDS *** Jomar60 [7d 2d]: raises 160000 to 240000 FisherGod52: calls 160000 *** FLOP *** [5h 7s Ad] FisherGod52: bets 3834489 and is all-in When he makes a stop n go move here, it tell me that he don't have the A. This is a move I've seen a lot of times with draws, low pairs and as pure bluffs. So I put him on a draw, low pair, or maybe a mid pair. I think there is a reasonable chance that I'm in front, and that I got 5 outs + a backdoor flush draw if I'm behind. Not a very good play, but I think the push is worse. Is this retarded thinking? |

Re: Stars 45K Final Table
You called the push didnt you? So clearly whatever moves he had made previously set you up for this one. Not to mention, he has a lot of his chips in the pot and is first to act on an A high flop, pushing here represents an A even though he only has the K's. I don't mind the push at all, in fact I make similar moves when shorthanded.

Re: Stars 45K Final Table
He played it poorly preflop by not reraising you and got scared when the A hit the flop, seems like a pretty straightforward reason for the play, your call is terrible though.

I don't like the push either, but the call is much worse.

Re: Stars 45K Final Table
Ain't too much about what I got. It's more about what he got, and why he is making this move. He bets like he doesn't want a call, and didn't hit his hand, or is on a draw.

Re: Stars 45K Final Table
For future reference, dont post results for hands like this... you will get better analysis if you dont.

It's probably the reasoning he used, but it's horrible to push because the flop could have wrecked your hand. |

Re: Stars 45K Final Table
Yes, the results was already out in a previous post. Tnx for your thougts. I don't like my call too much either, but don't think it's that terrible.
Guess it's those calls you make when you've been awake for 30+ hours and should've been asleep before the tourney started |
