If you plan on sticking around and playing with this guy for awhile I like it. Advertising heads-up is rediculously effective. If not, call or fold. You've got an 80% chance of the guy calling (some percentage of the time he's on air).

Yup. I've pulled this move and many others like it a million times. They've probably cost me about 5K-ish. Good luck, though. (BTW, I have no problem with a turn call.)

Hm, interesting. Turn call didn't cross my mind at the time (well it did, but I quickly discarded it). How often do you think he is on air here, and how often do you think a typical player will bluff the river (I can't call another river bet right) vs giving up?

I think he usually gives up on the river if you call the turn. So you can pretty safely fold the river. And the thing is that if he has a better hand than yours, he will RARELY fold it on the turn. Definitely bad risk/reward ratio for your turn move.

I dont hate this hand as much as everyone else, his minraise could be weak ace taking control of the hand for a small amount of money, and betting the turn for free showdown.

He obviously folds a better mid pair too. I think calling is a little better then raising, but I dont think this is all that brutal.

Is folding bad in your opinion?

I know you're not asking me, but folding to the flop min-raise is not bad, IMO. You're drawing to runners 99% of the time you're min-raised on an ace high flop as the preflop raiser. Of course calling is not bad either. I just know how donkish these guys are. This raise means set SOOOOOOO often.

not at all, if you think they have a better hand, and wont fold to aggression, and youre uncertain how to play an improved river, just ditch it.

is this a joke? it's heads up, I expect a set maybe 1% of the time, not 99%.

folding to the flop is another option, too, I thought emil ment turn.
