Default Fold or call down?

Villain is semi loose and passive. Do you fold at any point here or call down? How about a raise?

How about a flop 3-bet.

Given that you didn't, I call down.

My first thought is that I'm not folding this, but that is a lot of aggresion out of a suposedly passive player. I know that I would call down, but I wonder if this is a leak.

That is how I would have played it.

How passive? Like, probably wouldn't raise TP passive or would fold to a flop re-raise passive?

I don't think we are looking at AA, KK or AK (unless he's really, really passive) which means we are worried about KJ, K4, JJ? K4 doesn't fit the pf call, but I think KJ (and maybe JJ) does.

A raise on the turn might ensure a HU river. Maybe a flop re-raise would be a better (read: cheaper) way to find out for sure what villian is holding.

How about the flop?

That's a good place to find out where you are. If he caps, you might put him on 2 pair or a set and play the rest of the hand accordingly.

Depends on what holdings he check-raises with. If he's the type of passive player that bets/raises with a set or better, you fold the turn. Otherwise call all the way down.

I'd probably just call down. I don't think I'd 3bet the flop minus any real read on villian. Has he shown any tendency to be sneaky. If I thought he was just playing with my mind I would 3bet.

Personally, I've been 3betting on the flop more often in this situation. Not sure if that is correct though. Not folding, though.

Ummmm, no I would never fold this hand. With the backdoor flush draw and backdoor straight draw you can 3-bet this flop with confidence. A lot of the time your hand is best, and when it's not you'll sometimes get bailed out by those draws.

But we have a very strong holding. Showing down Top Pair Good Kicker is rarely an instance of a leak.
