Default Re: 7 hands from my last loosing session.

first off, post 1 hand at a time. Wait at least 4 hours before posting the next hand.

hand 1: I think I would raise the turn and fold to a 3-bet. If called, I'd check the river. Maybe do this with the flop instead of the turn.

hand 2: I think you can bet this flop. It probably missed the callers.

hand 3: bet the river

hand 4: fine

hand 5: fine

hand 6: I check/call the river

hand 7: reads would REALLY help here. He raised into a multiway field. Unlikely a bluff. Pot is still small, I think a fold is ok.

Keep that in mind thanks.

The villain in #7 was LAG (based on my 30ish hand read) so thats why I hesitated before I folded.

Anyways, thanks for all the input and I'll keep my HH to one hand at the time from now on

whew! 7 hands is a lot to think about

okay i differ from your suggestions some, but i was close. i usually don't play this higher limit, but i'm learning. anyway....

#1: Initially i had thought fold the flop. your suggestion is more aggressive than i tend to be, but if that's the best idea, then i can try to change.

#2: Agree to bet flop. What about betting the river?

#3: Agreed bet river.

#4: What about raising PRF? Other than that, okay.

#5: Agreed played fine. River just sucks.

#6: What about calling the 3-bet instead of raising?

#7: I had thought calling on the turn, but the pot is pretty small.

I am no poker authority by any means. I am just a winning 4-tabling 2/4 player. These are just my opinions, that's all.

#1) this is really player dependent. The raise gives me information and a chance for them to muck.

#2) betting and folding to a raise is an ok option (but my 2nd choice).. but 4 handed, I just don't feel like a worse hand will call/better hand will fold.

#4) raise Q3s preflop from the BB?

#6) I like capping because your pot equity is HUGE

#7) again, this is really player dependent. It could go either way

well i just started playing for real money @ .25/.5 (and i won last night) so i'll take all the help i can get.

at the higher micro stakes, i don't know if it would work, but limping in with Q3s just seems kinda pointless especially if you don't hit a solid flush draw on the flop. by raising, you could win the pot from the limpers or have more $$ in if you do hit your flush.

i guess with only 3 in, a Queen pair is good? anyway, steal attempt was my thought though i don't know if it would work.

hand #1, I bet the river, it's more than possible he's on a frisky AK, I see that commonly capped.

hand #3, you should be betting the river.

hand #6, you've got a gutshot straight draw, a flush draw, and a middle pair. Why would you not bet the turn?

I call down on #7.
