I'd call. I think you're about 50/50 against his range of hands and with the dead money you're getting appropriate odds. If you fold, you're going to have a tough time picking up the blinds in the future. Even if you lose you still have enough chips to play and re-build. If you win, you're in excellent position to go deep.

I'm glad to see there are people on both sides. I think to an extent I'm still on the fence.
Reasons for folding: I fold, I still have 15k in chips, and a table that I feel like I can do some accumulation. I hate to call and see that I'm drawing to 3 outs (Either one of the 3 aces left, or I'm playing a dominated ace and am drawing to a ten). Reasons for calling: I think it is fairly certien that I'm atleast getting proper odds to call. I call and win, and I have 25k (Good for about 3rd in chips with 60ish left). Results: I called. He had 66. No improvement for me. Nick |
