Also, regarding the raise, if I don't raise enough, then every crappy ace, king and queen is going to stay.

The problem with raising this much for this specific purpose at an 11 is that most crappy aces or kings that are willing to call 3x will call 6x as well.

Do you also raise 6x with AA-QQ here?

This line is only bad if you're unwilling to shove your chips in on that particular flop after the preflop action.

Minraises scare the crap out of me. I still probably go broke here reluctantly though, it's hard to put him on something that beats you after he limp-calls preflop.

As for preflop, I think checking or raising are both reasonable. I like the size of your raise too.
