Starting to play more limit, looking for book advice
I have started to play more limit poker and see several holes in my game, looking for good reading materials. Levels are normally 5-10 to 10-20, with hope of moving up in the future.
Thanks in advance |

I'll assume you mean live play... Small Stakes Hold'em is basically the Bible around here.

Once you read SSHE, HFAP, and Weighing the Odds by Yao, I'd add Theory of Poker.

Re: Starting to play more limit, looking for book advice
For the lower limit games, Small Stakes Hold Em is the book to buy as you will usually find a higher proportion of poor players in those games.
For the higher limits, start reading Hold Em Poker for Advanced Players by Sklansky and Malmuth. This was written for players playing against strong limit players- a higher proportion of which populate the higher limit tables. Also check out Weighing The Odds by King Yao- fantastic book which covers often overlaps with the previous two tiles, but offers some fresh perspective on a number of areas. Myself, I found it's short-handed advice some of the best in print. John |

Read SSHE and Theory of Poker. That will cover you.
