Default No poker rate in AC rest of week...what to do?

I just called the Borgata, Trop, and Taj, and they all tell me they've got no rooms at the poker rate left.

Borgata had rooms at the regular $220 rate, but F that.

What are the cheap non poker rate place to stay in AC?

Your Car is probably cleaner too.
Seriously the rest are flea bags that over charge way more then there worth. I think at last check the Rat trap next to resorts was 160...Pay the 80 bucks more and get comps to the buffet instead of eating out.

your options consist of

a) Choice Hotels or some such in Abscecon $80/night & clean
(I once had to do this when I was a 'Wong'

b) I've also stayed @ Burgundy when I had no notice and needed to crash @ I negogiated the rates to $140/night from $200 not a grimey place

I used to get rooms in AC via priceline.com all the time - I'd type in something pretty low, but not absurd, like $90, requested a room in AC (don't put "and surrounding areas") at least **, and they'd always put me up at the Convention Center. Nice rooms, and convenient enough. Worth a shot at least.

When did you do this? The day of or like a week before? Just curious b/c I can never get Sheraton on Priceline for that low.

The federal gov't (what exists of it), needs to launch an investigation into price rigging among casino-hotels and franchise hotels (ChoiceInternational is a major player). Hotel room rates, nationwide, are obviously rigged. You don't have to be in Atlantic City to see it. It's more apparent in smaller towns. The country is now under the worst non-leadership it's seen since Hoover.
