Default Bankrolls and 6 max tables

Hi, I've been playing 3 tables of 3-6 and my bankroll is currently 300 big bets. Lately I've suspected that it wouldn't hurt to increase my bankroll. What do you guys think? Is 300 BB enough or should it be higher? What if I play at higher limits (5-10, 15-30, etc)? Do I need a larger number of big bets or can I get by with the same amount (even if that amount happens to be over 300) regardless of the limit played?
Also, what are the $5-10, 6 max tables like at Party? Are they easy to beat? I've never played at a 6 max table before. Do I need to play differently? In what way? Why are there so many 6 max tables at 5-10, but not at 3-6 or 15-30? Any responses would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you want some inexpensive experience playing short tables, play some one table sit n go tourneys. You get a lot of short handed play, but not the huge variance in bankroll that you can get when running bad.

I think 300 BB is short for head up and 3 players, so probably a little short for 6 max too, especially if you cannot rebuy.

In general at 6 max tables, the better hand preflop tends to hold up more, and the game is played with much more raising (a "faster" game not only in hands per hour, but fewer hands get to the river.)

Also, better players tend to like short tables, I think...so be careful of game selection.

There are also tons of 1-2 shorthanded tables. You could drop down, try them, and see if you like the pace of the action.

You'd think that someone who has been banned twice would realize this means they're not fucking welcome here.

Alternatively, play Delta Poker on a busy night.
