T9s from blinds, am i beat here
Seat 4: VILLAIN($51.90) Seat 5: ME ($38.55) ME small blind of $0.10 ME [T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] Villain and 1 other limp, ME calls, bb checks *** FLOP *** [Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]] ME bets $0.95 2 folds VILLAIN calls $0.95 *** TURN [5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] ME bets $2 VILLAIN raises to $6 ME folds i know its an easy fold, but what are the chances hes using a position play w/ say A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] x. just wondering if there any +EV at all in calling that raise. doesnt look like theres much. |

I think I would probably check/fold this flop.
I don't think there is much +EV in calling the turn either. You don't have a strong enough hand to try to pick off a bluff. Even if you are ahead, there are a lot cards that could beat you on the river. I think by calling this that you only get yourself in a difficult situation on the river. |
