Wheres the brags?

I managed a 3.4+ in college with two failures(*) on my transcript. On its face 3.4 is not much, but it takes a hell of a lot to pull up two zeroes.

(*) That's what happens when you spend all your lab time playing Ultimate Frisbee instead.

I had a 60 average in freshman year in HS, and worked it up to an 80 by graduation. I think an 80's like a 2.7 right?

College i currently have a 3.3, but if you exclude freshman year, it's a 3.9

A 4.0 wouldn't have landed you in the top 10% of the class at my high school. And we were a public high school of about 2500.

I'm guessing classes there were incredibly easy

A solid 2.2 lol. But I went to one of the toughest engineering schools in the country and fcuked off a lot. I'm sure I could have done better if I went to a few more classes.

I think it has more to do with inflated grades than easy classes. Our system was based on a 4.8 (for getting an A in an AP class). Needless to say I took like 10 or 11 AP classes to end up with such a ridiculous GPA but based on our AP scores vs nationwide scores I doubt our classes were easy .

high school: weighted-well above a 4.0 (4.0 corresponding to a flat A. +/- system was used)

college: after 4 credit-years, 3.95/4.00 (more credits still to go, no "-" system)

i bet labs only carried 1/3 or 1/4 weight of a normal class, or about 1/12 to 1/15 weight in a given semester

No, the lab I referred to were their own courses in experimental methods of physics, taught by a tenured faculty member, worth the same number of credit hours as any other class. I was a complete ass clown for fscking up and not getting my work done.
