The ad says Texas Hold'Em, but I was thinking the same thing as you with carnival poker games. If it is a room, it would most likely be low limit.

These days many of the smaller ones do. (Not sure if the question was intended ironically or not.)

was just at the wild west "poker room" yesterday....its not really a poker room but just a roped off area next to the horse race simulcast area... I stopped by to check it out at around 11 am yesterday and there were about 10 tables with 2 dealers and NO PLAYERS... not a very good sign for a poker room that they couldn't get even 1 game going on just their 2nd day open

Just got back from AC and have some more news.

I tried to find out when the House of Blues poker room will open. A security guard said "very soon" and an attendant said "around July 15."

I also heard from a floor person at Taj that the Trop was fined $100,000 for allowing underaged kids to play poker. One guy has carding everyone who wanted to get on the list last night, but he's the only person I saw carding anyone.

Of course, take both of those with a grain of salt since I don't know how reliable the sources are.

Ya, there must have been some kind of underage crack down. I go to the Borgata about every other week and 2 weeks ago I got carded more in 1 week than in all of my previous trips
