Default Re: Sit and Gos for a living, What stakes do you recomend?

i play 100 sngs a day. do i win every day? not even close. do i win every week? not even close. every month? no because of pai gow. if you really wanna be a pro, play 5k sngs over the summer. once you have that many, you should know where you stand. just so you know, i am a pro sng player, and i have broken even over 1100 sngs, and i have had 19% roi over 1100 sngs. that should tell you a little something about variance. holla

This is a joke, right? If this is at the higher levels, why on earth wouldn't you move down? If this is at the lower levels, why on earth would you be playing in the first place. Please tell me this is a joke.

It was a joke. But most people do underestimate how long a good palyer can run even or slightly less than optimal, and how long the long run really is.

"It was a joke"

I hoped so (find it hard to believe someone would hang around after being -15% over 2k sngs) but you sounded so serious and I have been up for ages.

1. Like Sponger, I wish I could play that much pokah.
2. I think I deal with variance/ bad beats pretty well, I just shrug it off by now, just plow through and play good poker, but I don't think I could play 1100 and break even and keep going. I've gotten so far in terms of tilt and worring about results but I'm way behind you. I think if I played full time I could get there.
