Default Problem with hanging out with a poker dealer on his off day?

Im curious, ive met a nice dealer and he wants to hang out sometime. I dont want to get banned from the casino or anything. Does the casino/pokerroom frown upon this type of thing? If so, I will just tell him im sorry and cant hang out bla bla bla. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Shouldn't be a problem. My girlfriend plays at my casino all the time, and it's a non-issue.

Honestly, no one cares what dealers in the US do on their days off. It's like asking if you can hang out with a friend that works at a bank. It's your life, do what you want with it.

well, what im worried about is, a pitboss telling me "We dont want you coming to our pokerroom because you're hanging out with one of our dealers, and were afraid you guys may be cheating" Could this happen? This is at The Fort by the way, in AZ.

If they let the dealers themselves play, why not the dealers' friends? If they were afraid of cheating, it would be easy enough to work with someone the cardroom staff didn't know.

I'm pretty sure everyone got that. No one's pulling your leg, it's a complete non-issue. You can hang out with dealers, marry them, attend their children's bar mitzvot, etc.
