value vs pot control

this one didnt feel right. In fact i think every street may be wrong as i look back on it.

Villain seems weakish and maybe tight postflop but loose preflop,and has down things like call out 'AJs' before calling a medium sized raise preflop in a multiway pot. So theres a decent chance hes a moron, but I havent seen him make any crazy plays yet.

preflop raiser is TAG so far from what i've seen.

so instead you call two streets and then make a river bet w/o knowing if your AQ is good?

I like calling preflop, and maybe the check on the flop, but you either need to lay the hammer down on the turn(c/r the pot), or just flat out bet. If he's still around by the river, I still think your ahead and need to value bet this, whatever you think he will call. A raise on the river, or a re-raise on the turn would cause me to dump the hand without much more thinking. Results?

I think that if you put him on the flush draw, you have to raise the turn...he's either going to have you beat, or he's not going to pay you off when the river comes down. If you put him on a weaker ace (a dangerous read which you have to be certain about) you should make him pay more as well...what was the hand range that you put him on as the hand progressed...?

to block him from making a bigger bet, and trying to get value from worse As.

Flop and turn are just fine.

On the river, I'd either bet more (slightly more than 1/2 pot) or check and evaluate his river action.

I was villain with AK here I'd have very little trouble reading your hand and would put in a raise. If I had gotten to the river with some hand that I didn't think had either AQ or AJ beat, I might just move in on you expecting you to fold (although with his stack size that would be a pretty crazy bluff).

That's why if you are going to bet that river, you need to bet more. A larger bet will freeze up AK and prevent someone from making a play at you (because who's to say you don't have AT?).

I like the bet, it looks like a "I don't want to pay more than 175 bet" which I would probably make here...If you check, how much does villain bet?
