Default How\'s my line?

Results posted because they're assuming. *Sigh*... this downswing is not fun...

River: (20.75 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, CO calls, UTG calls.

Final Pot: 23.75 BB

Results in white below:
UTG has 3h 4h (two pair, fours and threes).
Hero has Ac Ad (one pair, aces).
CO has As Ah (one pair, aces).
Outcome: UTG wins 23.75 BB.

Should I just go into call mode after the flop 3bet? Cap the flop? Not sure why I did the stop go thingy. Thought it might help me against the CO maybe, though maybe I don't want him folding if he has an underpair...

Should I value bet that river or no?

Yeah, actually I don't like my line at all.

Raising the turn is pretty dumb I think, because the way it's playing out it look like I'm behind the UTG but ahead of the CO. If he has KK or QQ or just two overcards I don't wanna force him out of the hand.

This swing is really hurting me. I'm having trouble balancing my aggression and value betting. I really need a break but just by running the numbers it's still better for me to finish clearing my hands than bail now. Though once that's done I think a little vacation from the game is in order.

Getting check-3bet is usually a good sign that your pair is no good.

I figure I'm behind after the flop check/3-bet.

Looking at this hand only five minutes after I posted it and it's easy to see that it was pretty poorly played on my part. And honestly, I didn't consciously regonize the check 3bet till after I posted. I really need a break.

Though I will say the initial downswing was not a result of any glaring faults on my part. But the reason it's continuing downwards... I dunno, that might be another story.

But damnit Party, would it kill you to give me one pocket aces hand this week where I'm not already behind on the flop? Haha, even with my few board pair and set outs I was drawing to a split. Bleh, okay, well thanks for the input guys.

EDIT == Haha, actually...

I was just thinking about it. On the turn I have 8 outs, so folding would be wrong. And I'd love for the CO to fold so I win the whole pot if I hit. Sadly, given what the CO had... I think my play was actually correct (though obviously from the info I had at the time it was wrong).

Though the other aces are never gonna fold...
